Petek Sancaklı,
Academician  &  Animator

          Petek, a Serbian-born academic living in Istanbul, completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Department of Radio, Film and Television at the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul University.

She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the same university. The academic, who specializes in film and media studies, served as a research assistant in the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maltepe University, for seven years. 

She is highly proficient in Blender,

Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop. These programs are practically a playground for her.

Although she sometimes struggles to balance her academic work with her creative process, she believes her manages the process well. She is currently preparing to pursue his second master’s degree in Digital Design (Creative Artificial Intelligence) at Brunel University in London.
